As soon as I read this, I immediately went and duelled a whole bunch of Gryffindors and Slytherins (and won quite a few of them too). Because, honestly, whoever submitted this is right. It’s not fair for Ravenclaw or even Gryffindor to be using Hufflepuff’s low score as a crutch to push ourselves to the top, and damnit, we’re good enough to beat the houses that are in front of us anyway.
Not to mention, we need to admit that there’s nothing to fear from Slytherins winning the house cup. They earn their points just as well as we do, with no less work and through talent, not underhandedness.
Although I do feel as if, at least mathematically speaking, Ravenclaw would be on top if they had as many members.
